Is oliver from american housewife gay

To Be Or Not To Be

Written by Harrison Cheung

AMERICAN HOUSEWIFE fans debate about a lot of things that grab place on the display. One of the more persistent and liveliest topics of conversation is whether or not middle kid, Oliver Otto, is gay.

Let's see how this evolved.

By the middle of the first season, Oliver (Daniel DiMaggio) had reluctantly invited friends over for an escape room birthday party, and that was the first appearance of Cooper Bradford (Logan Pepper), a clueless, preppy, shallow and uber-rich classmate who took a shine to Oliver and his family.  The trajectory of Cooper's bond with the Otto's was primarily focused on Cooper having absentee parents, so he enjoyed the Otto's homecooked meals (meatloaf!) and traditional middle class nuclear family structure.

Oliver and Cooper quickly became "bros" though it seemed a lot of their friendship was based on Oliver's admiration of Cooper's family riches and a family mansion with its own theater and bowling alley.  Oliver was devastated when he reflection Cooper was snubbing him over Instagram.

Cooper and Oliver on AMERICAN HOUSEWIFE

I have to completely disagree with you r What the show has done to Oliver and Cooper is the very definition of Queerbating

Queerbaiting definition โ€“ Wikipedia

Queerbaiting is the practice to hint at, but then to not actually depict, a homosexual romantic relationship between characters in a work of fiction, mainly in production or television. The potential romance may be ignored, explicitly rejected or made fun of.

Not -Cooliver has nothing to do with gaining an audience. Queerbaiting is usually something that straight writers think is funny and yes they are aware that they are depicting the characters as gay. American Housewife has actually been called out about it on social media recently.

From thetvratingsguide ""Secondly, this episode exists in a weird, alternate universe where the storylines of the past either didn't take place or have no bearing. Fans who have long expected and hoped for "Cooliver" were shocked to detect Katie steer Oliver into a relationship with a girl, a rebound connection because apparently Oliver was soooo depressed

I recently started watching American Housewife on ABC after I saw a gif of two dudes that looked enjoy they had feelings for each other. And so far Iโ€™ve really enjoyed it. The characters are really amusing and Katie, the mom, is hilarious and at the same time annoying ๐Ÿ˜…. Iโ€™m just starting season 4 and even though nothing romantically has happened between those two characters, Oliver and Cooper, their goofy friendship is really cute and other characters pointing out or joking about them existence boyfriends and at least one traits each season implying that Oliver is gay, itโ€™s appreciate , come one ABC just cut the bs and craft them boyfriends already!

But, what this send is really about is the lack of posts about them! Like, I canโ€™t believe they arenโ€™t more well-liked. I remember a few years ago with The Fosters that Tumblr was full of Jonnor posts. Why is Tumblr fandom sleeping on Cooliver? ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€

And I really wish ABC is not just queer baiting us!
